Lawrence Wynn Boutte, 65, of Buna died Saturday, January 17, 1998, at Silsbee Doctors Hospital.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 19, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

A native of Orangefield, he lived in Buna three years. He was retired from the Orangefield School District Maintenance Department and was a former foreman with Levington Ship Building Co. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Boutte of Buna; son, John Boutte of Little Cypress; daughters, Valerie Hatch of Buna and Renee York of Beaumont; brothers, Glenn Boutte, Stephen Boutte and Steve Laughlin, all of Orangefield; sister, Reba Boutte of South Carolina and seven grandchildren.
