Cecil Edward Bourne, 92 of Vivian, LA passed away November 27, 2015 at his daughters home surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Gray Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Wayne Shew, assisted by Edward Luccous. Burial will follow at Core Cemetery in Gray, TX. There will be a time of visitation from 6-8 pm on Sunday the 29th at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA.

Mr. Bourne was born September 6, 1923 in Bonham Landing, LA and lived all of his life in the Vivian area. He was a member of Gray Baptist Church. He was a 32nd degree Mason, in the Scottish Rite, and in 1968 he was District Deputy Grand Mason. He served his country in the Army Airforce during World War II where he served on several planes as a belly gunner.

He was preceded in death by his wife Tommie Nell Bourne, his granddaughter Toni Michelle Williams and his brother Thomas Allen Bourne. He is survived by his children; Linda Bourne Whatley and husband Max of Vivian, LA and CE Bourne and wife Peggy of Gray, TX, his sister Gwen Comer, his brother Billy Bourne, 14 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be his brother Masons.
