Linda Clare Judge Cornell of Houston, Texas and Aspen, Colorado passed away on Monday, the 9th of July 2012 while SCUBA diving off the Turneffe Atoll, Belize.

Mrs. Cornell was born on July 22, 1947 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Edward & Jean Judge. She was 64.

She graduated from Chalmette Senior High School, Chalmette, Louisiana in 1965 where she was voted Most Popular, Most Likely to Succeed and Homecoming Queen. By all accounts Linda fulfilled her destiny.

Following a successful career in banking, Linda married David M. Cornell in 1995.

She loved skiing and hiking in the mountains, relaxing by the sea and world travel. She was passionate in her views, a gracious host and a generous soul.

Mrs. Cornell was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by her stepdaughter, her stepson and his wife, and four grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be conducted at ten o'clock in the morning on Monday, the 6th of July, 2012 at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, Texas, followed by a reception at the church.

She will be buried in Aspen, Colorado next to her husband.
