Theodore Bosler, son of John J Bosler and Mary Ann Williams was born at home in Dingman township, Pike, PA. He married Irene Lawson on September 14, 1882 in Pike county, PA. To this union six children were born: Harry J Bosler 1885-1889, Corwin D Bosler 1888-1888, John B Bosler 1890-1957, Theodore Harvey Bosler 1893-1915, Frank E Bosler 1897-1981 and Mae Ruth Bosler August 1904-2001.

Known by his family and friends as 'Dorie'. He was trampled to death by a young bull on the D. B. Olmsted farm. He was found by Frank Peroz near an apple tree in the pasture. Frank chased the bull away by throwing stones at him, but it was too late. Dorie died from internal injuries at the age of 70.
