Annie W. Bortzfield, 90, of 381 Frogtown Road, Pequea, died Friday at Quarryville Presbyterian Home after a two-year illness. She was the wife of the late Clyde H. Bortzfield, who died in 1952. Mrs. Bortzfield worked for more than 30 years at Keppel's Candy Manufacturing, retiring in 1973. She was a member of Colemanville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening. Born in Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph K. and Lizzie Warner Sauder. She is survived by four sisters, Ada Enterline, Columbia; Edith, wife of Nelson Stoner, Washington Boro; and Irene W. Sauder and Hattie W. Sauder, both of Quarryville; and three brothers, Harry W. Sauder, Columbia; Raymond W. Sauder, Conestoga; and Irvin W. Sauder, Fawn Grove. (Sunday News - June 16, 1996)
