She was born in Geyer, Germany to parents Carl Eduard Grund(1835-1884) and Christiane Wilhelmina Schoamn/Schramm(1842-1895)
In 1888 she had a daughter named Lina Martha with a man named Gustav Peter. She never married him. In 1891 when Martha was 3, Hulda married Carl Bernhard Eberlein.
She and Carl were the parents of six children, only 2 of whom reached adulthood.

Oswald Robert Eberlein(1893-1945)
Helene Rosa Eberlein(1897-1967)
Clara & Max Eberlein(Twins, both 1900-1900)

Carl died in 1918 in Germany. Afterward Hulda came to America with her two daughters, Lina Martha and Helene. She lived in Utah with Martha and her family.
