Judith 'Judy' Borger of Mount Laurel passed away Friday, April 1, 2017, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 56.
Judy was born in Mount Holly, the daughter of Frances Scartocci and the late Edward Sr.
She was a pediatric nurse for more than 30 years; and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hainesport.
Judy is survived by her husband of 33 years, George 'Tres'; children, Douglas Borger (fiancé, Christelle Mason), Katelin May (Douglas), and Gregory Borger (Kelly); grandchildren, Lucas and Levi; sisters, Jane Suermann and Jill Bell, brother, Edward Scartocci Jr; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends may attend her viewing from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m. Thursday, April 6, at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Queen of Peace Church, 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport. Burial will follow in Park View Cemetery, Medford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Judy's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Drive, Westampton, NJ 08060.
