Billy Booth, age 59 of Paintsville, passed away Wednesday morning at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. Born January 3, 1955 in Mingo County, West Virginia to Rachael Chaffins Booth and the late Luther Booth. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Alma Booth and one daughter, Pauletta Louise Whitt. He is survived by his mother, Rachael Booth; two sons, Trevor Aaron Booth of Paintsville, Billy Shawn Booth of Huntington, WV; one daughter, Jamie Renae Tackett of Paintsville; one brother, Michael Booth of Auxier; two sisters, Linda Sue Smith of Inez, Francis Mollette of Warfield and six grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2PM in the chapel of the Phelps and Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Dials Family Cemetery. Andy Dillon will officiate. Friends may visit the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5-9PM and until time of service on Thursday. Arrangements are by the Phelps and Son Funeral Home of Paintsville.
