She was born on August 10, 1931, in Surry County to the late Conce Edward Journey and Mary Esther Lineback Journey Bobbitt. She was retired from Oakdale Knitting after many years of dedicated service.
Left to cherish her memory are a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Naomi Journey of Lexington; a special niece, Amy Heath of Mount Airy; and several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by a son, William Craig Griffith; and her husband Eugene Haywood Booker.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning April 5, 2018, at 11:00 am at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rusty Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
