Locals' Brother
Dies In Abilene
Albert Booe, 65, of 1026
Sycamore in Abilene was
dead on arrival at 1:40 p.m.
Thursday at Hendrick Medi-
cal Center in Abilene.
Services were at 2 p.m.
Friday at the East-Side
Baptist Church in Haskell.
The Rev. Roy Herricks, a
Foursquare minister from
Haskell officiated. Burial
was in the Willow Cemetery,
directed by Holden—
McCauley Funeral Home.
Born September 19, 1913,
at Goree, he was a veteran
of World War II. He was a
longtime resident of Haskell
before moving to Abilene.
Survivors include a son,
Rodney of Albuquerque, N.
M.; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie
Patton of Munday and Mrs.
Stella Fought of Dallas; a
brother, Dan Booe of
Munday; and a grand-
daughter, Jessica Lyn.
Pallbearers will be John
Barner, Desmond Dulaney,
John Larned, Bailey Toliver,
Bud Turnbow and Clyde
Hunt.
