Charles ‘Charlie’ Joseph Bonura, Sr., native of Kenner, LA and a resident of Holden, LA, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family and friends on Saturday, May, 7, 2011 at the age of 66.
Son of the late Charles Bonura and Florence Viola Bonura.
Beloved husband of JoAnn Ocmond Bonura.
Father of Charles J. Bonura, Jr. (Rebecca) and Andrea Chaisson (Dallas).
Grandfather of Cameron Bonura,
Trinity Bonura,
Noah Bonura and
Leland Chaisson.
Brother of Nickey Bonura,
Gracie Carol and the late C.J. Bonura.
Charlie proudly served in the United States Navy and in 2004 retired from the United States Postal Service in Kenner, LA after 40 years.

Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd. on Wednesday May 11, 2011 at 12:00 Noon.
