"Mrs. N. P. Bonney
[Special to the Picayune]
Summit, Miss., March 9 - Mrs. Alexine J. Bonney, wife of Mr. N. P. Bonney, editor of the Summit Sentinel, died here last night, after a painful and lingering illness, aged 39 years.
Mrs. Bonney was one of Summit's most beloved and esteemed matrons, and her death has cast a gloom over her legion of friends here. She leaves a husband, three sons and a daughter, besides other relatives, to mourn her sad death. She was a devoted member of the Catholic church here at 6 o'clock this evening. Her remains were buried here in Woodlawn cemetery."
