He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha M. (Wagaman) Bond, who died on December 18, 1999; his parents, Clarence A. and Florence E. (Fister) Bond; and his son, Mitchell E. Bond in 1983.
Mr. Bond was chief warrant officer, 2nd class, in the U.S. NAVY, in both the KOREAN and VIETNAM WARS, retiring in 1971.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy M.; sisters, Jean F.; Shirley I.; brother, Richard C.; grandson; step grandchildren; great-granddaughter; and seven step great- grandchildren.
Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich St., Kutztown, Pennsylvania handled arrangements.
Burial was with military honors.
