Steven D. "Steve" Bollman, 59, of Dundas, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at his home.

Visitation at Crain Funeral Home in Newton. Funeral services at the funeral home with Reverend Joe Crain officiating. Burial in West Lawn Cemetery in Newton.

Steve was born on October 1, 1951, in Newton, the son of Lyle G. and Eloise K. (Calvert) Bollman. He married Joyce A. Brown on January 16, 1981. She survives.

He was a farmer and seed dealer for Chanel Seeds. For three years, he served as road commissioner for Smallwood Township. He was a member of West Liberty United Methodist Church, Jasper County Farm Bureau and volunteered with Honey-Do Ministries.

Steve will be loved and remembered by his wife, Joyce Bollman, of Dundas; sons, Ben Bollman and Brooks Bollman, both of Dundas; mother and stepfather, Eloise and Charles Fritschle, of Newton; brother, Alan Bollman and his wife,, Ellen, of Dundas; sisters, Glenda McDowell and her husband, Roger, of Louisville, and Jill Kocher and her husband, Paul, of Olney; stepbrothers, Alvin, David, and Dennis Fritschle; and stepsister, Gail Sandiford.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Bollman.
