Jacob H. Boll, 89 died Sunday June at Century Villa Health Care in Greentown.

He was born Feb in Elwood to Harry and Mary Beyer Boll.

On April 7, 1941 he married Martha Jane Cottingham, who preceded him in death Nov.

He attended St Joseph's school in Elwood. He owned the Theater Bar in downtown Kokomo and later worked at St Joseph's Hospital in purchasing and receiving. From 2001 he lived in Leesburg, Fla. Before moving to Leesburg he was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Kokomo. He had been a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles. Jacob loved fishing, bingo, bowling, and his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter Mary Kay and husband Mark Ewing, Flora; a stepson Bill and wife Loretta Lazarus, Columbia; four grandchildren Cheryl Ewing, Ronda and husband Steve Henry, all of Kokomo, Chris and wife Kathy Ewing, Havelock, and Bryan and wife Rebekah Ewing, Greentown; two step-grandchildren Les and wife Starr Lazarus, Columbia, and Bethann and husband Donald Dewitt, Muncie; nine great-grandchildren Jennifer and husband Steve Collins, Mark Berry, Anthony Logsdon, Bethany Henry, Kayleigh Henry, and Derrick Henry, all of Kokomo; Ryan Munsell, Cydney Ewing, and Brandon Ewing, Greentown; six step-great-grandchildren Joshua, Andrew, and Steven Lazarus, Columbia, Ashley Michelle and Sarah Dewitt, Muncie; two great-great-grandchildren Adrian Berry, Peru and Isabella Collins, Kokomo; he also leaves one brother John Boll, Kokomo; two sisters-in-law Fern Cottingham, Anderson, and Alice Cottingham, New Palestine; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Joseph and William Boll.

A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Church, 1229 N. Washington St. Memorials may be made to the St. Patrick's building fund. Arrangements were entrusted to Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home.
