John William Boggess 62 a Lawrenceburg funeral director died of a heart attack this evening at St Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Boggess came in this afternoon at the Gordon Funeral Home of which he was president aad was taken to the hospital about 4 pm He had been associated with the funeral home for 17 years. Earlier it had been headed by his late Uncle Gordon Boggess a native of Anderson County and was a deacon of the Lawrenceburg Christian Church and was a member of the Anderson Masonic Lodge No 90.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Martha Bruce Morris Boggess a member of the Anderson High School faculty The body is at the Gordon Funeral Home Rest Home.
