Marie's father, Frank Flynn, passed away August 1914. At the time of his death Marie was a teacher in the Elgin township schools.
She married Philip Jacob Boever 1 Mar 1916 in Le Mars, Iowa. The Boevers lived for a time in Judith Gap, Montana. They returned to LeMars and remained there several years before moving to Douglas County, Minnesota (near Evansville) where they operated a dairy farm. In 1950, following a farm auction, the Boevers retired and moved to Alexandria.
Marie passed away 6 July 1965. She was survived by her husband and ten of their thirteen children.

MRS. JAKE BOEVER LAST RITES HELD AT ALEXANDRIA
Mrs. Jake Boever. 70, of Alexandria, Minn., (died July 6 after a lengthy
illness.
Margaret Marie Flynn was born Oct. 24. 1894. She was united in marriage to Jake
Roever, March 1. 1916. To this union were born 3 children. They resided in Le
Mars until moving to Alexandria. Minn., where they have lived for the last 20
years.
Survivors are her husband; six sons: Cyril of San Francisco, Calif., Philip of
San Jose, Calif., Vince of Racine, Wis., Ray of St. Paul, Al of Minneapolis and
Tom of Tocamah, Neb., and four daughters, Mrs.
Robert (Margaret) Ames of Marcus, Mrs. Clifford (Mary) Franck of Remsen, Mrs.
Mary(Germaine) Schimmer of Milwaukee and Mrs. Jerry (Lois) Marrison of St. Paul.
There are 28 grandchildren and one
great-grandchild also surviving.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and three children.
Funeral services were held in St. Mary's church in Alexandria, Minn., Saturday,
July 10.
Attending the funeral from Remsen were Mrs. Clifford Franck, Mr. and Mrs. Paul
Rodesch, Mrs. Margaret Rodesch, Lawrence Hames and Jack Boever.
