June L. Albers age 77 of Madison, SD died Saturday May 1, 2010 at the Madison Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be held beginning at 10:30 am Saturday May 8, 2010. The Rev. Tony Stockman will officiate services at the Good Shepard Free Lutheran Church. Burial will be at the Elmwood Cemetery at Bruce, SD.

Visitation will begin at 1:00pm Friday at the Randall Funeral Home with a prayer service beginning at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume Saturday morning at the church.

She was born November 1, 1932 at Lyman SD the daughter of George E. and Mary Anne (Dixon) Boettcher.

She grew up and attended school at Lyman, and attended and graduated from Estelline High School in 1950.

June was united in marriage to Fredrick William Albers on June 17, 1951 at Lennox, SD.

Throughout her life, she worked as a bookkeeper, secretary, receptionist, living in the communities of Sioux Falls, Watertown, and Brookings.

She was a member of the Good Shepard Free Lutheran Church at Madison and Church bible study. In her younger days, she was an avid bowler and enjoyed archery.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons: Randy Wayne Albers, and Dennis LeRoy (Laura Yanto) Phoenix, AZ; Warren Jay (Rowena) Albers, West Bend, OR; two daughters: Susan Marie Albers of Florida, Lynnette Albers Boettcher Bruce, SD; and a daughter in law Edi Albers.

She was preced in death by a son Jody, her parents, three brothers, and a sister.
