Grand Haven Mr. Albert Boer passed away on Aug. 17, 1996. Mr. Boer was born in Grand Haven in (April 01) 1901 and was a lifelong resident. He was the son of Edward A. and Gertrude Boer. He worked for the Bastian Blessing Co. for many years and was the office manager when he retired in 1962. Mr. Boer was active in the Lake Shore Baptist Church, of which he was one of the founding members. There were four children: Mrs. Lois Hilborn of Chicago, Ruth Bohn, deceased, Marian Smallegan of Spring Lake, and John Boer of Springfield, OH. There are 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Harold Boer of Grand Haven is his one living brother. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby, brother Arend and sisters Sadie & Hermina. Funeral services will be from the Throop Funeral Home-Coopersville and burial at Coopersville Cemetery.
