Ernie served with the RCMP for 22 years. He was stationed throughout BC and was in the musical ride for a couple of years. When he retired from the RCMP, he joined the Liquor Control Board in BC and Alberta. After Ernie retired from the Liquor Control Board, he and Lillian moved to Edmonton, AB.

Rite of Committal of Ernest's cremated remains will take place in Allan Catholic Cemetery, Allan, SK.
