He was a retired employee of Du Pont and a member of the Southern West Virginia Beagle Club.
Surviving: sons, Charles F. of Winfield, Johnny Junior of Kenna; daughters, Mrs. Dorma Lacy of Charleston, Mrs. Millie Birhisel of Pinch, Mrs. Edith Haumesser of Leesburg, Fla.; sister, Mrs. Edith Walker of Princeton, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Elk Funeral Home with the Rev. David Click officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
