BILLY EDWARD BOCOOK, 77, of Wheelersburg, died Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Ohio State University Hospital East in Columbus.

Born September 7, 1937 in Catlettsburg, West Virginia, a son of the late Marshal and Carrie (Wilson) Bocook, he was owner of Bocook Garage in Wheelersburg, a member of South Webster Baptist Church and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Gale N. (Wright) Bocook, whom he married on July 1, 1960 in Scioto County; a son Billy (Kelly) Bocook; a daughter, Susan Kay Cole; five grandchildren, Jason Cole, Jesica Cole, Nick (Heather) Bocook, Josh (Jeni) Bocook, Miranda (Dan) Sutton; ten great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Carol Mays, Patty Lavender and Marsha Bocook.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Bocook.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, October, 27, 2014 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Burial will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Graveside military rites will by American Legion James Dickey Post 23.
