Mrs. (Maria) Elizabeth Bock died at her home in David City, Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Elizabeth Bock, aged 69 years. Deceased was born in Bavaria, Germany, in November 1836, and came to this country when a girl. The funeral took place from her late residence yesterday afternoon at one o'clock. Rev Flope, of Thayer, a Lutheran minister, preached the sermon, and presided at the obsiquies. Mrs. Bock has been in poor health for several months past. She leaves two sons and one daughter to mourn her loss, Fred, Henry and Lizzie Bock, also two brothers and one sister, Phillip and William Hanner and Mrs. William Boehm. She was a member of the Lutheran church all her life, and lived the life of a consistant Christian woman. The Press sympathizes with these friends in their great loss. The Banner Press 2/22/1905
