Newberry, Nov. 28 – (Special) – Colie Bobb, 42, died early Wednesday morning at the Haynes hospital in Clinton after being ill since Sunday.
Mr. Bobb, the son of the late Thompson Bobb and Mrs. Ida Bobb was born and reared near Prosperity. He lived in that section for a number of years but had made his home in Goldville for the past ten years.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Thursday afternoon from the Baptist Church of Goldville with the Rev. Mack Bryant and the Rev. Smith Haley conducting. Interment will follow in Rosemont cemetery in Newberry.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Leilla Owens Bobb; the following sisters and brothers: Astor Bobb of Kinards, Johnnie Bobb of Prosperity, Mrs. Lula Mabry of Spartanburg, Mrs. Beulah Long of Prosperity and Mrs. Maggie Johnson of Kinards and a number of nieces and nephews.
