Alma was born February 11, 1947 in Hickory, North Carolina. She married William "Bill" Boatright June 13, 1980 in Houston.
Alma attended the Merkel Church of Christ. She was a homemaker who enjoyed working with her husband and gardening. She loved all dogs and rescued chihuahuas.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Boatright of Merkel; five daughters, Sharon Hall and husband Bobby of Houston, Sheila Lowman of Valdese, North Carolina, Sandra Moreno and husband Alex of Arlington, Christina Walczak and husband Dean of Merkel, Teresa Boatright and fiance' Phil Walls of Merkel; two sons, Douglas Hart of Valdese North Carolina, Erik Boatright and fiancee' Stephanie Cody of Merkel; several grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest Greene of Asher, Oklahoma, Edgar Greene of Connellys Springs, North Carolina; two sisters, Ruby Setzer and Vernie Freeman both of Hickory, North Carolina; and special mother, Mary Allison of Hickory, North Carolina.
