EAST WENATCHEE - Billie L. Baum, 64, a 33-year resident of East Wenatchee, died Sunday afternoon, Jan. 22, 1995, in Central Washington Hospital.
She was born June 19, 1930, to William L. and Idoline K. (O'Brien) Board at Boise, Creek, located between Enumclaw and Buckley. She attended school in Enumclaw and graduated from high school there in 1948. She attended St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Tacoma and following college, worked for Sears.
She married Billy D. Baum on July 20, 1956, in Tacoma. They moved to Ellensburg in 1958 and to Wenatchee the following year. They moved to East Wenatchee in 1961.
Mrs. Baum was a member of the Wenatchee Skylettes Club. For many years, she purchased dolls and made clothes for them for the Salvation Army Store to be distributed to needy children at Christmas.
Survivors include her husband, at the home; two sons, James A., Brewster, and Steven E., Wenatchee; her father, Enumclaw; two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Shirley) Evans and Vicki Babic, both of Enumclaw; and two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
