Survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Garland Boagni, Opelousas; four sons, Kenneth Jr., Lee, and Benjamin Boagni, all of Opelousas, and Henry Boagni, Kenner; a brother, Charles F. Boagni Jr., Opelousas; three sisters, Justine Straight, New Orleans, Lillian Lazaro and Georgie Walter, both of Opelousas; and eight grandchildren.
He was the 27th Judicial District judge from 1940 to 1948, lieutenant governor of the Kiwanis Club for Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennessee, member of Notre Dame Monogram Club, earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University, and in 1939 was an original founder of Guardians of Good Government.
