OBITUARY :
CHAUNCEY RAY BLUBAUGH, SR., 52, Tomstown, died at 10:15 o'clock this morning at the Waynesboro Hospital.

He was taken ill two years ago while at work at Frick Company but had recovered sufficiently to return to his duties. For the last year he had been in ill health and unable to work.

He was admitted to the hospital Sunday.

Mr. Blubaugh was born at Tomstown, the son of John and Elizabeth (Mentzer) Blubaugh and lived his entire life in the Waynesboro, Route 1 section.

Mr. Blubaugh had been employed in the pipe shop at Frick Company as timekeeper and clerk. He had been employed by Frick Company for about 30 years.

He had attended Sunday School at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.

He was a member of Acacia Lodge F. and A. M., Waynesboro; Knights of Pythias; Jr. Order U. A. M.; Fraternal Order of Eagles; Eagles Club; Loyal Order of Moose, Hagerstown, and for many years was president of the Sport Gun Club.

Surviving are his wife, Mable Moats Blubaugh, and a son, Chauncey, Jr., at home, a granddaughter, and these brothers and sisters, Mrs. Clarence Noll, Waynesboro; Mrs. James Secrist, Mrs. Thomas Haugh, Mrs. Carl Monn, all of Waynesboro, Route 1; Mrs. Merle Brubaker, Waynesboro; Henry, Washington, D.C., Jacob and Merle, Waynesboro.

Funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, in charge of Elders' Clarence Beaver and Warren Avey. Interment will be made in the Quincy cemetery.

Friends may call Friday evening from 7 until 9 o'clock at the home, and at the church from 1 o'clock until the hour of service Saturday.
