OBITUARY: Press Enterprise, Bloomsburg, PA, Wed., July 13, 1983

Bruce W. Bloom, 59, Orangeville R.D.1, died Tuesday at 11:20 a.m. at Harrisburg General Hospital. He was hospitalized since June 27.

Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Bruce W. Bloom Sr. and Mary Rothermel Bloom. He was a tool and dye maker for TRW for 31 years. He was a member of F&AM Orangeville, Caldwell Consistory in Bloomsburg, and a member of the Greenwood Methodist Church. He lived in Greenwood for 22 years.

Surviving are his wife, the former Janet Bangs, to whom he was married 33years in June; a son, Roger D. Bloom, Bloomsburg; daughter, Dianne Albertson, Orangeville R.D.2;Jay F. Bloom, Nescopeck; sisters, Martha Pursel and Mary Dooley, both of Sunbury; and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by a brother Robert J. Bloom
