Funeral services for Camiel Blondell, 73, Fagetown farmer, were conducted in St. Agatha Church at Gagetown by Rev. John Nagle Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial was in the church cemetery. The body was at the Hunter Funeral Home, remaining there until time of service at the church.
Mr. Blondell died in Cass City Hospital Saturday, after one week's illness of pneumonia. Born in Belgium April 16, 1876, he had been a resident of Tuscola County the past 40 years, coming here from Detroit.
He is survived by two brothers, Alphonso (Jack) Blondell, University of Ann Arbor, and Basil Blondell of Caro; three nieces, Mrs. Mae Valeck, Mrs. Margaret Hellabyuch, and Mrs Virginia Gurdon, and one nephew, Marcell (Ted) Blondell.
Out-of-town attendants at the funeral included Mrs. Virginia Gurdon and family of Cass City, Mr. and Mrs. Marcell Blondell and family of Caro and Mr. and Mrs. Valeck of Saginaw.
