Savannah - Lilla L. Blitch 56, died Saturday, December 23, 2006 at Hospice Savannah. She was a native and life long resident of Savannah and was a former employee of Bell South. She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Jordan, her sisters, Peggy Sinus and Joann Marshbanks. Surviving are, her husband, Wesley Blitch of Savannah; daughter, Shelia Sanchez of Bloomingdale, son, James Dale Walker Jr., of Savannah, brother, Thomas Jordan, sister's, Ann Edmund, Esther Bunn, Veddie Puthsley, her grandchildren, Tony Sanchez, Adriana Sanchez, T.J. Sanchez, Kirsten Edens and Elaina Edens and Tyson Lee. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26, 2006 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel. Burial will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
From Volunteer Linda Wallis: They don't have Lilla Blitch. They have a Lola Blitch with the same date of death. She's in an unmarked grave in Oleander section, lot 352.
Update: 14 Apr 2022: Burial on the border of Oleander and Rose Sections on 25 Feb 2022. Further research is needed to determine exactly which Section. Thanks to Dana McCartney!
