Jimmy Lee Blevins passed away on Monday January 2nd, 2012. at the University of
Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Jimmie was born in Liberty,
Kentucky on October 2nd, 1955 and was 56. He was the son of John Lee Blevins
(deceased) and Dora Dean Morgan Atwood of Liberty, Kentucky. Jimmy was a mason
tender by occupation. He was preceded in death by one stop grandchild and one
step-brother, Charles Atwood.
Survivors include his spouse Roberta (Bobbie) Wallace Blevins, one daughter,
Samantha Carol Blevins of Hustonville, Kentucky, one son Jimmie Deward Blevins of
Liberty, step-children, Amanda Baxter of Middleburg, Kentucky, Samantha Puttet of
Liberty, Kentucky, and Tyler Wethington of Louisville, Kentucky, two grandchildren,
one great-grandchild, five step-grandchildren, two brothers, Tim and Barry Blevins
both of Liberty, Kentucky, two step-brothers, Dewayne Atwood of Norwood Ohio and
Ronnie Atwood of Ohio, one step sister, Judy Gibson of Norwood, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. Wednesday January 4th, 2012 at the Bartle Funeral
Home Chapel. Funeral Services officiated by Reverend Dennis Morgan will begin at
2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 6th, 2012 at the Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Burial
will follow in the Willow Springs Cemetery.
