Allen Bleckman, age 76, of Washington passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in Washington. He was born on October 5, 1937 to the late Frank and the late Anna (nee Sellmeyer) Bleckman in Washington. On October 8, 1966 he was united in marriage to Carol Kuebler. He served as an Active Reserve member of the United States Army and loved to garden.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church at 10 am. Interment will follow at the Church cemetery. Visitation will be at Miller Funeral Home on Friday, August 1 from 4 until 8 pm. Memorial donations are appreciated to St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Bleckman of Washington; five children, Jamie and husband Joshua Koritz of Chesterfield, Brian and wife Stacy Bleckman of Washington, Jodi Bleckman of Phoenix, Arizona, Brad and wife Stacy Bleckman of Washington, and Kelly and husband Allen Borgerding of Marthasville; three siblings, Norman and wife Mary Bleckman, Leola Unnerstall, and Georgia Ritter, all of Washington; eight grandchildren, Alexander, Hannah, Lyndsey, Elizabeth, Olivia, Keaton, Isabella, and Maxwell; other relatives and many friends.
