Jacob D. Bleak "Jake" Our bright, gregarious beautiful son, brother and uncle left us far too soon on March 28th, 2010. "Jake" had the ability to make everyone feel at ease in one moment and to laugh until it hurt in the next. He was an accomplished handyman who could make hardwood floors sparkle! Some will remember him as a loan officer; most will remember him as an extraordinary waiter with an unforgettable smile and a twinkle in his eye.Jacob enjoyed boating at Lake Powell and taught family and friends his love for fishing. However, he was able to keep his abilities to catch them a secret. He could quote any line from any movie, do spot-on spontaneous impressions and was a wonderful singer. He was an avid football and basketball fan - and his favorite teams were the Minnesota Vikings and the Utah Jazz.

Jacob Dennis Bleak was born May 17th, 1978 to Shawna Pickens and Dennis Bleak. He is survived by his loving family, Shawna Pickens; Denny (Betty) Bleak; Jeremy Bleak; Josh (Sarah) Cederlof and niece and nephew Aria and Scott; Hollie (Brandon) Beckstead and nephew Rowan; Stephen Pruitt; Raegen Pruitt; grandmother, Marlene Keller; and many other family members and friends. We know you have now found peace and solace. Thank you for the joy and laughter. You are missed and loved forever.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 2nd at 12:00 Noon at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 South). Viewings will be held at the mortuary Thursday, April 1st from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Friday. Interment: Mountain View Memorial Estates. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jacob's name to "The Road Home", 210 So. Rio Grande St., SLC, UT 84101. Online condolences may be shared at www.jenkins-soffe.com
