Mary S. Blazer, 85, of Chillicothe, died Friday morning, February 13, 2009 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on December 30, 1923 in Jackson Co., the daughter of the late Richard M. and Laura Jane Stewart Copper. On May 17, 1939 she married Samuel E. Blazer who preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1978.
Surviving are her children; Gloria Eyre of Chillicothe, Joyce Houser of Frankfort, Wilhemina (Emory) Dutton of Columbus, Joseph (Linda) Blazer of Kentucky, Peggy (Dane) Miller of Chillicothe, 11 grandsons, 11 granddaughters, 27 great-grandsons, 18 great-granddaughters and one on the way, 8 great-great grandsons, 5 great-great granddaughters, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son; Gary E. Blazer, daughter; Deanna J. Posey, grandson; Thomas Houser, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Mary was a faithful member of the Fruit Hill Church of Christ in Christian Union church for 28 years.
Services were entrusted to Ebright Funeral Home of Frankfort, Ohio.
