James Lee Blanton, 63, Rison Avenue, died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Huntsville Hospital after a short illness.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Laughlin-Service Funeral Home.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Odell Blanton; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Benson of Shangaloo, La.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dorothy Parcus of Huntsville; two sisters, Miss Lila Blanton and Mrs. Annie Harbin of Huntsville; a brother, George "Bill" Blanton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
