Services for Arla Ro Clapham Blankenship, 74, 1341 Tarman Circle, Norman Oklahoma were today in McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church with Dr. Phil Flinn and Rev. Charles Richardson officiating. Burial was in the 100F Cemetary with Mayes Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

She died Saturday in St. Anthony Hospital, Oklahoma City, following an extended illness.
Born Feb. 11, 1909, in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska. Mrs. Blankenship moved to Norman in 1973 from Clinton Oklahoma. She was a member of the McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church, the PEO, Sorosis Club, Wisteria Garden Club and the Newcomers Club.

Survivors include two sons, Jap Blankenship of Oklahoma City and Duane of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; a daughter, Cheryl Zak of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a sister, Coleen Hart of Norman; three granddaughters, Lisa Connery of Oklahoma City and Kristi and Vicki Rambo, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two grandsons, Chad and Zachary Blankenship, both of Broken Arrow.
Bearers were Robert L. Pendarvis, Vestal Avery, Clyde Bogle, Raymond Crews, Jerry Gentry and Fred Bassett.

The family has designated the Arlo Ro Blankenship Memorial United Methodist Church as appropriated for memorial contributions.
