WINCHESTER - Bobby "Rex" Blankenship, 65, 704 Williamsburg Drive, husband of Mary Clark Blankenship, died at 7 am Thurs. at the University of Louisville Medical Center. A native of Loretta, Tenn., he was the son of the late Troy Melvin and Eula Mae Blankenship. He was a retired truck driver for Wilson Freight and Sylvania. He was a Marine veteran. Additional survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, William "Bill" and Carolyn Blankenship, Winchester; a daughter, Kathy Sinkhorn, Greenville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Katy and Lee Blankenship,Winchester; two brothers, Ray T. Blankenship, Greenwood, Ind., and Harold Blankenship, Deerfield Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Linda Davis, Jeffersonville, Ky.; Regina Driskell, Central, Ind., and Shelby Cutler, Jeffersonville, Ind., and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry J. Blakenship. Services will be conducted at 10 am Mon. in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Jessamine County, by Rev. Bobby Castle and Rev. William Richardson. Pallbearers will be Michael Wallace, Anthony Davis, Larry Blankenship, Jim Clark, Roger White, Jim Blankenship, Gary Clark, Ronnie Clark, Todd Blankenship, Jim Blankenship, Jay Clark and Shane Blankenship.
