Austin G. Blank, 41, a well-known mason and carpenter who resided on Stone Road, died at the Veterans' Administration Center, Martinsburg, W. Va., on Sunday. He was born in Frederick County, the son of William E. and Ethel May Young Blank.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a son, Glenn Edward Blank, a daughter, Roxanne Lee Blank of Unionville; five brothers, William F. Blank, Route 6, Frederick, Paul R. Blank, Carroll A. Blank, James L. Blank, Route 4, Frederick, Ralph L. Blank, Monrovia; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Myers, Jr.; Mrs. Edward Gray of Route 4 Frederick; one half-sister, Mrs. Raymond Beachley of Frederick; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Blank was a veteran of World War II.
Friends may call at the M.R. Etchison and Son Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, today and Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m.
Interment will be in the Rocky Springs Cemetery.
