Martina Bland, Aged 82 of Leitchfield, died on Wednesday August 20, 2003 at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield.
She was born on March 6, 1921 in Grayson County as the daughter of Lonard and Maude Forbes Skaggs. She was a housewife.
She is Survived by her son and daughter in law, Billy and Sharon Bland of Clarkson; her daughterand son in law, Juanita and Hardin Porter of Falls of Rough; one sister Etta Pierce of Leitchfield. Also surviving are five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was proceded in death by her husband; Howard; a grandson, Phillip Porter; three brothers, L.S. Haskell, and Thomas Skaggs; and one sister Marie Skaggs.
Funeral services were held on Friday, August 22, 2003 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Rev. Rudd Kerr officiating.
Burial was in the Sanders Cemetery.
