Mrs. John Roach Passes Away.

Margaret Blanchfield was born in Floris, IA, 17 May 1861 and departed this life 5 Jun 1921 at her home one mile south of Ainsworth, at the age of 57 years & 18 days. She had been in failing health for some time caused from a general breakdown and had been bedfast for 2 months when she was stricken with the influenza and for a time recovery seemed hopeful when pneumonia set in and in her frail condition was unable to recover. She was an ever kind and loving wife and mother, always thinking of the comfort of others and never of herself.

She was united to John Roach 41 years ago at Auburn, IL. To this union were born 5 boys and 2 girls, four preceding her to the Great Beyond, 2 passing away in infancy. John and Charles both died here in Nebraska.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, John Roach, and 3 children, Edward B., Orville A. and Bertha C.; 2 grandchildren, Ruth & Lyle, all of Ainsworth; also one brother, James Blanchfield of Taylorville, IL.

Mrs. Roach and family lived in Illinois until 15 years ago when they came to Ainsworth where she has since resided. She was a member of the Catholic church since childhood and although unable to attend church regularly she was a devoted Christian, never forgetting the Saviour.
