Mrs. Elmer Blanchard died this morning at 4:30 o'clock at her home near Poncha Springs. For the past three weeks she had been sick with typhoid fever but seemed to be convalescing. This morning she was seized with an attack of heart failure and almost before the watchers realized her condition she was dead. Elmer Blanchard, with his three children and his father and mother, Rev. and Mrs. Blanchard, left yesterday for Bridgport[sic], Connecticut, where they will make their future home. Rev. Blanchard formerly lived near Bridgport[sic] and the family expect to remain permanently in that vicinity. In their departure the community loses one of its most respected families.
