Mary Ann Robinson was the daughter of John Robinson and Elizabeth Jane Winfield. In the 1860 census it appears Mary's mother has died probably from childbirth. By the 1870 census three of her sisters, one of whom is married (Marion Robinson Gray), live together. One is in an orphanage and Mary now Marie is a domestic for a family with young children.Find a Grave contributor, William McKern found Marie in an obituary of the Washington Evening Star, April 15, 1945 pg 14. The Star obituary mentions she is buried at Mt. Olivet. Husband was Lowell Levi Blake, (who ran The Charlie Mac steamship to and from Marshall Hall of which they owned for a short while.)
