Mrs. Hattie J. Addis, 96, of Wooster, a former resident of the New Concord area, died at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 1986 at the Westview Manor Nursing Home in Wooster. She was born Sept. 17, 1889, in Aston, the daughter of M. L. and Sarah Armstrong Blake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Addis, on Oct. 5, 1974; and two daughters, Mrs. Geneva Casaw and Miss Marjorie Addis. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Faye) Umbach, of Wooster; and Mrs. Matthew (Goldine) Kuchinka, of San Diego, Ca.; two sons, Delmar Addis, of Marietta; and Victor Addis, of Pensacola, Fla.; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mock-Miller Funeral Home in New Concord where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with The Rev. Frank Lewis and the Rev Trina Lewis officiating.
