CLEAR SPRING - Beverly Jane Blair, 70, of 11420 Charles Mill Road, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000, at her home.
Born Sept. 4, 1929, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Thelma Borns Bowers.
She retired from Clear Spring American Legion, and was previously employed by Dorbee Manufacturing and Subway Restaurant.
She was a member of Mercersburg VFW Auxiliary, Clear Spring American Legion Post 222 Auxiliary, and AARP.
She is survived by her husband, Ray N. Blair Sr.; three daughters, Carolyn Ryan and Virginia Lee Mundey, both of Hagerstown, and Pamela K. Dunn of Clear Spring; four sons, William Wiles Jr. of Harrisburg, Pa., Ray N. Blair Jr. of Clear Spring, Richard C. Blair of Halfway and F. Wayne Blair of Clear Spring; a sister, Frances Monninger of Chewsville; a brother, Charles Bowers of Williamsport; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Revs. Robert J. Seek and Robert Timmons will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Clear Spring.
