Washington, March 9 - Robert G. Blaine, a brother of the late James G. Blaine, died to-night at his residence in this city. He was 65 years of age and leaves a widow and six children. Mr. Blaine has resided here for a long number of years, and for some time was employed in one of the executive departments.

Mr. Robert Gillespie Blaine, a brother of the late Mr. James G. Blaine, died last evening at his home, 133 C street southeast, after an illness of about a week’s duration. The cause of death was paralysis of the right side, and for two days Mr. Blaine had been unconscious. He was about sixty-five years of age, and bore a striking resemblance to his distinguished brother. He leaves a widow and six children, a son and five daughters. Two of the daughters are married. For some time prior to his death Mr. Blaine held a position in the Congressional Library, having formerly been a chief of division in the Department of Agriculture.
