Jesse and Anna were married in Andrew County, Missouri, on November 7, 1875. Annie bore 13 children, 11 living in 1900, and she died March 3, 1908.

On July 11, 1911, Jesse married widow Rosannah Jane (Hinshaw) Stark in Reno County, Kansas. At the 1915 Kansas State Census, Jesse & Rosannah were living by themselves and Jesse's youngest child, 17 year old Lili I Blaine, was living with her 36 year old sister Cora A Blaine and two other sisters, Corda and Fairy, all in Reno County, Kansas. Jesse's daughter Norva O Blaine had died in 1912 at age 15.

Jessie's mother was Eleanor (Ellen) Blaine.

Jessie was buried with his 1st wife, Annie. His 2nd wife, Rosa, was buried with her 1st husband.

Hutchinson News, 1/4/1934: Jesse T. Blaine

The body of the late Jesse T. Blaine, Reno county pioneer, who died at a hospital in Los Angeles, from meningitis of the brain last week at the age of almost 78 years, was brought back to his old home community in Huntsville township for burial, the funeral being held Sunday at the Huntsville church, the Rev. D.M. Zimmerman officiating. Burial was at the Pleasant View cemetery, conducted by the Nickerson Masonic lodge.

Two sons and six daughters were present at the funeral services—Harry Blaine, of Sylvia, Lloyd Blain, of Muskogee, Okla.; Mrs. Ella Johnson, of Sterling; Mrs. Jessie Jenkins, Mrs. Cordie McGehe and Miss Lila Blaine, of Wichita, Mrs. Fairy Reddy, and Miss Cora Blaine, of Kansas City. One son, Claude Blaine, of Delhi, Calif. was unable to attend the funeral.

Mr. Blaine located in Reno county in the spring of 1879 on a homestead in Huntsville township where he lived until the death of his wife in 1908 when he moved to Nickerson. He was married there in 1911 to Mrs. Rosa Stark. They moved to Hot Springs, Ark, in 1921. Last spring they moved to California.
