DEATH OF MRS. BLACK – Long Time Resident of Putnamsville Passes Away – The death of Mrs. Samuel Black for 35 years or more an esteemed resident of Putnamsville, occurred at 2:40 o'clock this morning, and was due to valvular heart trouble. She had been in ill health for some time. She was born in Middlesex 64 years ago and her maiden name was Sarah Gould. She married Mr. Black some 35 years ago, at which time they resided continuously in the vicinity of Putnamsville.
She is survived by her husband and two children, Fred, who resides in Putnamsville, and Mrs. Chester Kellogg of Worcester. She also leaves three grandchildren. She was devoted to her home and was highly regarded by all who knew her.
