Born February 9, 1915 in Monticello, Utah to George Henry and Sarah Ruth Gale Black. Married George Douglas Bishop on December 1, 1932 in Salt Lake City. Member of the LDS Church.
Marjorie was the world's most loving and gracious wife, mother, and grandmother; her greatest joy was family gatherings.
She is survived by two sons, Dan (Shirley) Bishop, and Gary (Lorie) Bishop; four daughters, Judy (Syd) Elliott, Karen (Gordon) Forslund, Lois (Elston) Snow, and Linda (Steve) Vance; daughter-in-law, Linda Bishop; 27 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Merle Black. Preceded in death by a son, Douglas; a grandson, Randy; four sisters and one brother.
Funeral services Saturday, 12 noon, Larkin Chapel, 260 East So. Temple, where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m., and Saturday, one hour prior to service. Burial, Redwood Memorial Estates.
