Mae is survived in death by her two daughters, Karen Rains and husband, Randy of Bryan and Betty Heath and husband, Luke of College Station; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Rains Chavez and husband, Michael of New Mexico and Amy Prachyl Heath Nix of Bryan and Rachel Heath Money and husband, Elliott of Hearne; 3 great grandchildren, Sara Nix, Thomas Nix and Jonathan Money.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Walter Bishop and Beulah Mae Tidwell Bishop of Hearne and one daughter, Linda Lane Alford Jacobus.
Mae loved her family and taking pictures. She volunteered at Hearne Health Care for the last 10 years. She had a great since of humor and was always smiling. Her greatest accomplishment was the raising of her 3 daughters, one of whom was handicapped, by herself.
